Uber行车记(12):遭遇电话和短信钓鱼诈骗
骗子真是无处不在。干Uber或者Lyft司机也可能被诈骗。话说昨天(星期六)在路上刚接到一个活,正准备拐弯去接人,立即收到一个电话,说是Uber工作人员,知道我的名字和开的车,知道我正要去接谁,告诉我Uber对这个区域的司机要进行身份验证。
这厮在电话里让我找一个路边安全的地方停车,然后取消这个活,并且在理由里面要选“不收取乘客费用”的选项。一开始不明就里,就照做了。他问我的电话号码,我说你应该从系统里能看到,他说是要验证,所以需要我回答。我想好吧,就告诉他了。然后说是要发一条短信给我,需要我回复。一会儿短信就来了:

这一下彻底明白了,这是典型的网络钓鱼诈骗手法啊。TMD。
一旦骗子得到你的用户名和密码,他们就可以偷了你的Uber或Lyft账户里的钱。挣点辛苦钱不容易,被骗子偷了去,那真是太冤了。这种莫名电话或电邮,大家一律不要理会!
查了一下Uber官网,他们有如下说法:

WHAT IS PHISHING?什么是钓鱼?
Phishing is an attempt to trick you into giving up your Uber account information (email, phone number or password). Phishing attempts are often made using an unsolicited email or SMS that contains a link or attachment that goes to fake login page. Uber employees will never contact you via email or phone requesting your account’s information such as password or email. 【Uber员工不会通过电邮或电话要求你提供密码或电邮】
If you are prompted to enter your Uber account email or password, make sure the URL in the address bar of your browser displays https://www.uber.com.
WHAT TO DO IF PHISHING IS SUSPECTED
If you receive a message claiming to be from Uber, asking you to go to an external link that isn’t from https://www.uber.com, don’t click the link and don’t respond with any information.
HOW TO HELP KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT SECURE:
– Use a unique password that you don’t use on other websites
– Make sure your password contains at least 10 characters, lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers and at least one symbol
– Only provide your login info on https://www.uber.com
– Make sure your computer has the most recent upgrades and anti-virus software
